The new Audi Q4 e-tron fully electric SUV

Versatile all-rounders for daily use that transfer the progressive design of the concept cars into series production and that can be driven locally without any emissions: The Audi Q4 e-tron and the Q4 Sportback e-tron are the first compact electric SUVs from the brand with the Four Rings.

Both of them impress with a new spacious dimension in the interior and pioneering solutions when it comes to operation, display, and assist systems. The augmented reality head-up display connects the virtual and the real worlds in a totally new way.

The range comprises three drive versions, spearheaded by a quattro model with a maximum output of 220 kW (299 PS)(Maximum output determined according to UN-GTR.21.). Attributes that they all share are zero local emissions driving and high ranges, charging times of around ten minutes for sufficient power to travel about 130 kilometres (80.8 mi) in ideal conditions (WLTP) and convenient charging with the Audi e-tron Charging Service. The rear-wheel-drive Q4 40 e-tron achieves a range of up to 520 kilometres (323.1 mi) in the WLTP cycle.

It goes on sale in Europe in June 2021, with prices starting at EUR 41,900, where the customer can claim a subsidy of EUR 9,000 (net).

Daimler Trucks is testing its fuel-cell truck

  Daimler Trucks is focusing on hydrogen-powered fuel-cells for the electrification of its vehicles for flexible and demanding long-haul transport. It aims to achieve ranges of up to 1,000 kilometres and more without any stops for refuelling. In late April, the truck manufacturer began to conduct rigorous tests of the first new enhanced prototype of its Mercedes-Benz GenH2 Truck, which was unveiled in 2020. This marks an important milestone on the path to series production. During these tests, the developers at Daimler Trucks are putting the fuel-cell vehicle through its paces. The extensive series of tests is very demanding for the vehicle and its components, and focuses, among other things, on continuous operation, different weather and road conditions, and various driving manoeuvers.  According to Daimler Trucks’ development plan, the vehicle will also be tested on public roads before the end of the year. Volkswagen Delivery is the first electric truck developed in Brazil

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Group presented a purely electrically driven distribution truck. The new electric light truck is called  Volkswagen e-Delivery and is built at Volkswagen Caminhões in Brazil. While the conventional diesel versions of Volkswagen Delivery has already entered the market in South America, the E-Delivery is not expected until 2020. The Volkswagen e-Delivery electric truck will be a true World-Truck: the company is planning to sell it in over 30 countries including EU countries . The GVW range is from 3.5 to 13.5 tonnes for the diesel version as well as for the e-Delivery. The electric motor, which is backed up by a lithium-ion battery pack, feeds 109PS (107hp) to the two-wheel drive system, with its total driving range said to be up to 200km (124miles). Humble One is the world's first solar SUV

 The Humble Motors project has just revealed the first images and data of what will be its first model, the Humble One, a 100% electric SUV that will have a roof covered with solar panels. Obviously, with current technology it is impossible for a vehicle to be powered exclusively by solar energy generated by its own panels, so we are talking about a conventional electric vehicle that has photovoltaic cells. Quadro Vehicles unveils eQooder - a four-wheel electric motorcycle

 At the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show, Quadro Vehicles unveiled the brand new eQooder, the world's first and only electric vehicle with four wheels and zero emissions. eQooder was created in partnership with Zero Motorcycles, which has supplied the four-wheeled motorcycle with the Z-Force 75-7 electric motor. With the new engine, the eQooder received 60 hp (45 kW) and 110 Nm of torque, which means that it has become more powerful than many representatives of motor vehicles of the maxi-scooter class. Skoda launched the Enyaq IV electric SUV last fall, and the first units entered the assembly line of the Mlada Boleslav plant at the end of November.
